The Choose Right Campaign was initiated after a violent incident which took place in Plaistow witnessed by many residents, local businesses and school children. Several witnessed an attack on Prince Regents Lane which was extremely dangerous. This could have led to a child having long term physical health issues if not for intervention made to protect the child from the attack. This was an enormous wake-up call! Action needs to be taken by the entire community to keep our young people safe, now!

We are seeing a rise in violent crime on our streets particularly involving young people. The entire community need to come together in agreement that enough is enough and we stand against violence!
Interactive Workshops
Children and young people will take part in a series of workshops which will increase their understanding of their impact on their local community.
There is a lot of work which needs to be done to protect children in our community and we need to work together to create a safer environment and improve the wellbeing of all in the community. We need to encourage the younger generations to ‘Choose Right’ when making decisions which impact our local environment. This will lead to a safer, more pleasant place to live. To do this, we all have a role to play, we all need to ‘Choose Right’ and decide to work together!
Educational Institutions and the Police also need to hear the voices of the community in which they serve in order to develop cohesion and peace. This can be achieved as we ALL decide to ‘Choose Right’ and work together.
